Alyssa is a Multimedia Journalism graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a love of all things sports, writing, television, superheroes, and fandom. She’s a teacher by day and a writer every other free moment.

Alyssa is the managing editor for BearsWire.com, which covers the Chicago Bears for USA Today Sports Media Group.

Alyssa worked for Fangirlish.com from 2013-2020, where she served as a staff writer and editor.

Alyssa is also the owner of TMISource.com, the leading site for Cassandra Clare and her books, as well as Freeform’s Shadowhunters.
